ASUS was one of the first big tablet makers to announce interesting Windows 8 and Win RT tablets at the end of the summer. They’ve got the Vivo Tab RT with a 10.1 inch display, the 11.6 inch Vivo Tab and Taichi and now there’s a fresh product, ASUS Me-400, with a 10.1 inch screen and the full version of Windows 8 on board.

ASUS ME-400 is supposed to pack a 10.1 inch display with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels and it also comes with an Intel Atom Clover Trail Z2760 processor, according to leaks. It also gets 2GB of RAM, a microSD card slot, a mini USB port (for some reason) and 64 GB of internal storage. A webcam and a central back camera are also included among the specs, the main one with LED flash.

The expected price for the product is estimated around 512 to 537 euros, which is quite cheap if we consider that even a RT tablet is more expensive. ASUS has a conference planned in New York tomorrow, meant to release their Windows 8 tablets. Aside from the models we already know, we may also see the newcomer pictured here.
