Lenovo’s Miix Windows 8 tablet was announced a few months ago, but it’s only now that it’s available for sale in the States. The device comes with an Intel Atom Z2760 1.8 GHz processor and a 10.1 inch display and other than it looks like your typical Win 8 device.

The product supports a 1366 x 768 pixel resolution, has 2 GB of RAM, 64 GB of storage, a 1 megapixel camera and all of those are crammed inside a slate that weighs 1.28 pounds. If you think the camera is disappointing, well, it comes with a sort of gimmick, since it using a special software it will allow you to move your hands in order to flip through web pages.

You can also use gestures to control the audio volume, for example. The Lenovo Miix starts at $599 and there’s also an option available with a keyboard included, but the price tag is yet to be revealed. For some reason Lenovo, the world’s biggest PC maker can’t seem to get an impressive market share in the slate area. I wonder why…
