If you’re looking for a cheap phablet, well, you should know that such a thing exists and it’s called the Lava Mobile XOLO A1000. This is a 5 inch device, with a $259 price tag, based on Android. You can check it out in the following image and see its specs after the break.
The XOLO A1000 uses a sleek white body, that resembles some Galaxy handsets and it brings forth some midrange specs, that will please the average smartphone user, who wants a phone with a large screen and enough power to play some of the latest Android games. The device goes on sale in India for 13,999 rupees for now and I’m pretty sure it will reach some other countries as well.
The A1000 comes with a 5 inch IPS display with a 720p resolution, while at the inside you’ll find a MediaTek MT6577 1 GHz dual core processor and a PowerVR SGX531 GPU. There’s also 1 GB of RAM on board and 4 GB of internal storage, plus a microSD expansion card slot and an 8 MP cam at the back. To that we add a 1.2 megapixel front camera, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and a 2100 mAh battery.
