There’s a new iriver product ready for the US market, it seems and this one’s an e-reader dubbed Story HD. The product was showcased at CES back in January and it has only now reached the FCC, preparing for its descent on US soil. As shown in the image below, this slate resembles the Kindle quite a lot.
The iriver Story HD e-reader measures 6 inches in diagonal and supports a 1024 x 768 pixel resolution, plus it comes with a 800MHz Cortex A8 CPU at the inside. 2GB of internal memory are also present, as well as an SD card slot and WiFi connectivity. 2GB of onboard storage are available, as well as an SDHC card slot.
