Verizon has another Apple item that might interest you and it’s not the iPhone, but rather the iPad that will arrive at the end of October. Verizon iPads are available only in the WiFi version, bundled with MiFi mobile hotspots. On October 28th, the carrier will start offering three bundles, for the 16GB, 32GB or 64GB Apple tablet.
The bundled accessory is the Verizon MiFi 2200 Intelligent Mobile Hotspot and the retail prices of the three versions are $629.99, $729.99 and $829.99 respectively. The same carrier offers a monthly access plan to iPad customers of up to 1GB of data per month for $20.
In case you have questions concerning the MiFi accessory, it comes with a 4 hour battery life, which is funny, since the iPad has a 10 hour battery life. Paying $130 more just to get a Verizon iPad… Is it worth it?
