Huawei had an interesting launch event today, that focused a lot on selfies and acoustics of the devices they launched. The Chinese debuted two phones and a tablet called MediaPad M3, pictured and detailed below. Priced at $391, this model has an 8.4 inch display.
Huawei worked with the Harman Karon sub brand AKG, with them providing AKG headphones bundled with the slate. The Huawei MediaPad M3 is the follow-up to last year’s M2 and comes with an 8.4 inch with a 2560 x 1600 pixel resolution and 16:10 aspect. The slate brings forth a metallic case, a Kirin 950 CPU and dual speakers with Harman Kardon tech.
We’ve got a 5100 mAh battery in the mix, a microUSB port and a fingerprint scanner fitted within the Home button. A special EQ mechanism has been added by engineers for improved audio and specs include 4 GB of RAM, 32 or 64 GB of storage and LTE in a special version. The battery offers 11 hours of video playback and the screen provides a blue light filter, that protects the users’ eyes.
