Unveiled at IFA 2016, earlier this month, the Huawei MediaPad M3 is one of the few high specced 8.4 inch tablet that users can buy towards the year end. Now we learn that this product is also coming to the US market.
What we’re dealing with here is a solid slate, that offers an 8.4 inch 2560 x 1600 pixel display, as well as the HiSilicon Kirin 950 CPU, accompanied by 4 GB of RAM and a 5100 mAh battery. This model has only been priced and released in Europe, at 349 euros for the WiFi only model with 32 GB of storage. There’s also a 64 GB one with LTE by the way.
Stereo speakers, 8 MP front and back cameras and WiFiac are here too, as well as a microSD card slot and a fingerprint scanner. 349 euros may not convert to its equivalent in dollars, but rather straight to $349, as we’ve seen in the cases of other products. Huawei promises 11 hours of video playback and at the worst you’ll be spending about $392 on this baby.
Harman Kardon acoustics and some special fine tuning is also available here.
