Huawei unveiled last week in Dubai a series of new devices, like two watches, but also a bunch of tablets. Among the tablets we find the Huawei MatePad 11.5 S, a device with a 2.8K screen with 144 Hz refresh rate.
Huawei MatePad 11.5S comes with an 11.5 inch screen with a 2.8K resolution and 144 Hz refresh rate. It runs HarmonyOS 4.2 and comes in an optional PaperMatte Edition. All versions feature an USB-C 3.0 port, support for M-Pencil 3 and an 8800 mAh battery. The device packs an IPS screen panel and the PaperMatte version is supposed to perfectly mimic a pen on paper experience.
Interestingly, this is a very slim device, one that measures just 6.2 mm in thickness. It can be paired with a keyboard accessory. Sadly we don’t know what chipset rests inside, but it’s very likely it’s a Kirin with a Maleoon 910 GPU. It’s the same GPU as the Kirin 9000S models have. It could be the Kirin 9010 from the Huawei Pura 70 series.
The slate also brings 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, plus quad speakers with Histen 9.0 technology. All of those in a metallic unibody design.
