A rumored tablet from some while is also the HTC Flounder, a device that could arrive on the market as a new Nexus product, the most rumors suggesting the fact that this one will be a Nexus 9 tablet. As you previously found out, this device was also known as HTC Volantis.
Today we get to know the fact that HTC Flounder received certification from the WiFi Alliance. Also, this tablet with the series number 0P82100/0P821000 received two weeks ago certification from the South Korean authorities, another clue that make us think that the launch of this device isn’t very far away/
Looking at the WiFi Alliance certification document above we notice that HTC Flounder runs the new Android version, more precisely the Android L. Among the possible specs of this tablet we may get a 8.9-inch display with a 2.014 x 1.440 pixel resolution, a quad-core NVIDIA Tegra K1 processor, 1 GB of RAM, 16 or 32 GB of storage and a 8-megapixel camera with autofocus.
