Every week we get wind of a new and even more affordable Windows tablet and today it’s HP’s turn to give us a new model. We already knew about the existence of the HP Omni 10 tablet, but now it has become available, with the price starting at $350.
The device relies on an Intel Atom Z3770 quad core processor and integrates a 10 inch Full HD display and Windows 8.1 software. This product was announced in October and now it’s up for purchase in USA. The device has a price listing of $399 officially, but Office Depot offers it cheaper, at $350. We’re dealing with a 10 inch model here, one that offers a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels, 2 GB of RAM, 32 GB of storage and a microSD card slot.
Micro HDMI can also be found on board, together with a microUSB port, WiFi, Bluetooth, an 8 megapixel back camera and 2 MP webcam. There’s also Miracast wireless display support and inside the device you’ll find a 31 Whr battery, that gives you up to 8.5 hours of functioning time. This sounds like an excellent alternative to the ASUS Transformer Book T100.
