Honor had a new event today, unveiling a bunch of tablets, laptops and other gizmos. The new slates are Honor Tab 6 and Honor Tab X6, which debuted together with a new color for the Tab V6. We have more details, prices and specs below.
Honor Tab 6 packs a 10.1 inch Full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels and a contrast ratio of 1000:1. It measures 7.55 mm in thickness and weighs 460 grams. It stands out via the sound system, Histen 6.1, which involves large speakers with a 2.2 cc large sound cavity for better low frequency output and more solid sound quality. Tab 6 runs on Android 10 with MagicUI 3.1 on top and comes with a Honor Magic pen as well.
Inside we find the Kirin 710A processor, together with 3 GB or 4 GB of RAM, as well as 32 GB, 64 GB or 128 GB of storage.
Then there’s Honor Tab X6, which is more affordable and drops the resolution to 1200 x 800 pixels, lower than the Tab 6’s Full HD res. Memory-wise, it provides 3 or 4 GB of RAM and 32 or 64 GB of storage. There’s no stylus here. Otherwise, info about battery, build and cameras is rather light right now.
Honor Tab 6 goes on sale July 16th priced at $185 in the lowest end version, with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage. There are also 4G Models planned with up to 128 GB storage and 4 GB of RAM. One such unit is $271. Honor Tab X6 comes in August priced up from $157. It also has WiFi and 4G versions.
