In the Nexus world, beside smartphones, there’s also tablets, devices that managed to become a lot popular lately, like the Nexus 7 slate that has been sold in a huge number. As some rumors suggest, Google has in mind the launch of a new tablet called Nexus 9 in partnership with HTC, device that has been previously leaked as HTC Flounder or Volantis.
Recently, a purposed sketch of a Smart Cover typs case for the Nexus 9 tablet showed up online, drawing that offers a closer look on how this case will work and function. We find out that this one will bring a triangle support with magnetic elements for support, system similar to the one used by Apple’s iPad cases.
Is expected that this case to offer Bluetooth 4.0 technology necessary for pairing to the tablet, and a NFC chip. Also, this housing will offer a 450 mAh battery designed for the keyboard. Regarding dimensions, this case will measure 320 mm in length, 228 mm in width and just 5 mm in thickness. Having the sketches of the case, all is mising now is the tablet.
