Eve V is a new 2 in 1 tablet, that’s coming to Indiegogo soon, powered by a 7th gen Intel i7 processor, it seems. It’s not the first project from Eve, who also came up with the Eve T1, a small Windows tablet, that was meant to promote such formats. Mike, Eve cofounder confirmed the specs of the device and the details are below.

This is a 12.3 inch IGZO LCD device with a 2736 x 1824 pixel resolution and a contrast ratio of 1:1400 and 450 nits of brightness. There’s also Gorilla Glass protection here, with anti fingerprint and anti reflection coating on top. Specs include 8 or 16 GB of RAM, while storage varies from 128 to 256 and 512 GB. Eve V packs a gravity sensor, a fingerprint sensor and gyroscope, plus GPS, so it’s all covered up in that field.

Connectivity is also taken care of, with a Thunderbolt 3 USB-C, one USB 3.1 Gen 1 USB-C, two USB 3.1 Gen 1, USB-A and microSDXC card slot. Of course, there’s WiFi 2×2 MU-MIMO and Bluetooth 4.2, as well as WiDi. Eve wants to include a Pen with the device, one that supports Windows Ink and provides 1024 levels of pressure. Some carriers may even pick up the LTE version of the device, that may well serve as a Surface Pro 4 or Pro 5 killer.

It obviously has a keyboard and kickstand and seems slimmer than the competition. Eve also has backing from Intel, aside from crowdfunding. The product goes to Indiegogo on November 21st.
