Dell Latitude 7030 Rugged Extreme is the latest rugged tablet on the market, a 10 inch device with Windows 11 o board. It weighs 1.01 kilograms, which is about double compared to your average slate.
This 10 inch fully rugged machine is designed for workers and people with tough jobs, away from the desk. It’s a massive device, with a rigid handle, passive stylus for writing and drawing, plus a detachable keyboard. It’s also got IP65 rating and RGB backlight for the keyboard. We also find in the mix a rotating strap, that secures the device to your wrist.
There’s even a special place to store the stylus. Dell has also included here dual hot swappable batteries, aside from the 36 Whr internal unit. There are also two additional batteries available for people who need extra power. Dell Latitude 7030 Rugged Extreme has been certified with the IP65 and MIL-STD 810 ratings and it’s been drop tested up to 4 feet.
Temperature tests have happened, from minus 20 degrees Fahrenheit to 145 degrees F. You can find inside up to a 12th gen Intel Core i7 processor. There’s also integrated Iris Xe graphics on the Core i5 or i7 configs. Up to 32 GB of RAM and up to 2 TB of storage have also been included. Connectivity is covered by Wi-Fi 6E and 5G, plus GPS. There’s also an universal audio jack, USB-A, barcode scanner port and RJ-45.
