The folks of Last Level Tech have unboxed the Dell Latitude 10 tablet with Windows 8 Pro. Why discuss this slate? Well, because of the impressive and huge 60Wh battery on this Clovertrail tablet. There’s also a Wacom digitizer on board, a LED flash, a full SD card slot and a TPM module.
The tablet has a Gorilla Glass protected display, a magnesium chassis like the famous Surface Tablet. There are docking options and a very good stylus. The device supports a 1366 x 768 pixel resolution on a 10 inch diagonal and I must mention that the tablet weighs 820 grams, or 658 grams with the 2 cell 30 Wh battery. Dell Latitude 10 is a tablet with an optional dock without keyboard and said dock adds two USB 2.0 ports, Ethernet and a full SD slot.
Powering up the device is an Intel Atom Z2760 Clovetrail at 1.8 GHz, accompanied by 2 GB of RAM and 128 GB of flash storage. There’s also HDMI (mini) output, SDHC card slot and audio jack. The camera at the back is an 8 megapixel one and it has autofocus and LED flash. Be sure to check out the video below and see the slate compared with an iPad.
