We’ve seen at least a dozen 64 bit Intel tablets lately, all of them with compact formats and to that list we add the Chuwi VX8 3G model today. The device is shown below and it doesn’t look very bad, in spite of the fact that from the front it seems like a fatter E-book reader.
This model is an 8 incher with a narrow screen frame and slim body. Its borders measure just 5 mm and this unit is only 7.5 mm in waistline. It comes with metal keys and apparently has a very solid build, with special anti theft screws to keep the device harder to open up with an usual Philips screwdriver. The VX8 model relies on a quad core Intel 64 bit processor and it comes in an Android version or Windows 8 one.
It seems the option to have your pick between OSes when buying a tablet of this kind has become trendy lately. Chuwi VX8 3G supports a 1280 x 800 pixel resolution on an IPS panel and it’s equipped with an Intel quad core Z3735D processor, 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage. Loving the design!
