In 2015 we had the chance to test for a while the Chuwi Hi8 tablet, a 8-inch device that in spite of the low price-tag managed to impress. For 2016, the Chinese producer prepares some other slates too, like the Chuwi Hi12 tablet that might hit the market this month. The first thing revealed, is that Chuwi Hi12 comes with Windows 10, but later it will also support dual-OS (Win 10 + Android 5.1).
The 12-inch panel found here will offer a 2160 x 1440 pixels resolution. Next we have a quad-core Intel X5 Cherry Trail Z8300 processor clocked at 1.84 GHz, an Intel HD Graphics (8th Gen), 4 GB of RAM memory and 64 GB space of internal storage + microSD card slot up to 128 GB.
Also, this tablet will pack a huge 11.000 mAh battery, a 2-megapixel front-facing camera, and a 5-megapixel rear camera sensor. Chuwi Hi12 will be available in two color variations: champagne gold, and space gray. Above you can see a first live picture with this 12-inch tablet that looks indeed promising. We’ll just have to wait a little more in order to find its price tag.
