Chuwi is at it again, launching another affordable tablet, the Chuwi HiPad XPro, which comes with an Unisoc T616 processor and Android 12. It’s priced at merely $150, which makes it one of the cheapest tablets around.
Chuwi is a Chinese brand known for tablets, laptops and mini PCs and it has just launched a new tablet in its local market, a model dubbed Chuwi HiPad XPro. It’s basically the successor to the HiPad X and comes with a slightly larger display, narrower screen bezels and a quad speaker setup, plus upgraded cameras. Chuwi HiPad XPro comes with a 10.5 inch screen, with an IPS panel with a 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution.
It has a 16:10 aspect ratio and a max brightness of 360 nits. There’s also Widevine L1 certification, meaning you can stream content from the likes of Netflix, Hulu at the highest quality available. Inside there’s an octa core Unisoc T616 processor with two Cortex-A75 cores and six Cortex-A55 cores. The chip is coupled with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, plus there’s a microSD card slot, which lets users upgrade memory all the way to 1 TB.
Camera-wise, we get an 8 MP shooter for selfies and video calls, while at the back we find a 13 MP autofocus capable camera, for pic taking. There’s also a quad speaker setup, excellent for content consumption. The tablet runs on Android 12, weighs 500 grams and has a waistline of 7 mm. The battery is a 7000 mAh unit.
