Chuwi has become a bit of a staple in the tablet and laptop world, with monthly launches of new product lineups. They’re bringing some products to IFA 2019 next month, including the MiniBook, LapBook Plus and a few other units.
Chuwi is also known for robot vacuums, kitchen appliances and more, so expect to also see those there. For IFA 2019 they’ve prepared new tablets, laptops and mini PCs. The lineup for IFA includes the Chuwi MiniBook laptop, a small 8 inch laptop with an Intel 8100Y processor inside. It has a pretty impressive quantity of RAM, 16 GB and 512 GB of SSD storage.
There’s also an USB Type-C port in the mix, with PD support and an M.2 slot based on NVMe protocol, plus a PCI-e channel with read/write speeds over 2000 MB/s.
Chuwi LapBook Plus will also be seen in Berlin, with a generous 4K 15.6 inch screen with HDR and 100% sRGB color gamut. This is supposed to be an affordable laptop, one that uses the potent Intel X7 processor. It also has 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of SSD storage. Everything is completed with a numeric backlit keyboard.
Chuwi will do its showcasing in Hall 161, Hall 11-1, at the Berline Exhibition Center from September 6th to the 11th. Expect also some full fledged slates, maybe also a Chrome OS surprise. Stylus interaction is also promised in the teasers.
