ASUS announced today the rollout of yet another update for the Transformer Pad Infinity tablet, that is now reaching software version Android 4.2. ASUS has been pretty punctual when it comes to offering such updates, and the Infinity Pad is no exception.
There are many devices out there still stuck at Android 4.1, so this is quite the piece of news. The Transformer Pad Infinity comes with a 10.1 inch 1920 x 1200 pixel display and Jelly Bean 4.2 brings to it the multi-user sign in option, gesture keyboard typing, lockscreen widgets and improved expandable notifications. We’re also going to probably get the Photo Sphere on the device.
The update started rolling out hours ago and users are already starting to see it on their devices. You should hit Check Updates in the Settings menu and as usual, feedback is welcome. I expect that sometime in the following month ASUS will release a new Transformer tablet, since it would be about time to update that line.
