The ASUS Transformer Book Trio ultraportable device was unveiled during IFA 2013 in September and now we get a solid launch date, of November 11th. The date applies for the UK and in case you’re wondering, this model is a 3 in one unit.

The Trio goes on sale on November 11th for 899.999 quid and while this may be a premium price, you get a lot of stuff for it. The device can be used as a standard ultraportable notebook with the keyboard attached, but you can also detach the keyboard and use the slate part. The keyboard itself is a device, that can be connected to an external monitor and used as a desktop PC.

The trio screen is an Android tablet separately, while the Trio in full combo is a Windows 8 laptop. In notebook mode we’ve got a fourth gen Intel Core CPU, while the 11.6 inch tablet detached runs Android 4.2 on an Intel Z2560 1.6 GHz CPU and its features include a mini DisplayPort or a microHDMI, plus 2 GB of RAM and up to 64 GB of storage.
