You know what you can get for $349? Well, aside from an Apple HomePod, of course. You can get the latest ASUS ChromeBook Flip C213 model, that just showed up on Amazon, up for preorder.

The device was one of the models that got Android app support this week, thanks to the release of Chrome OS 59. This is a rugged Chromebook we’re talking about and Amazon has it on order. Sadly, it’s also “temporarily out of stock”, but orders can still be placed and you’ll be notified when it ships. This is an educational product, featuring an Intel Apollo Lake processor and two cameras.

The core features are a drop resistant shell and a spill proof keyboard. The Chromebook Flip C213 has 4 GB of RAM, 32 GB of storage and lets you access the Play Store via the Stable channel. There’s an 11.6 inch screen on board, with 1366 x 768 pixel resolution and everything is crammed inside a 2.7 pound heavy machine. With the rugged, military certified build, this laptop is able to withstand the pressure of classroom use, with kids or teens pulling at it from all angles.

Its battery life is rated at 10 hours, so above the average full day of classes.
