After we previously found out that the new iOS version will allow iPad users to run apps in split-screen it seems that this function won’t be showing up at WWDC as some sources suggest. The split-screen function it’s expected to be introduced in another update of the iOS 8 version.

As the name says, this function allows two apps to run in the same time on the screen offering a lot of usability to the users. Once the function will be available for iPad we’ll be able to share links or pics between two running apps or to copy and paste text from one to another.

While the current iPad versions will get this function, the first generation of iPad mini it’s left behind for the moment. It remains to see if the rumors that are saying we won’t see the split-screen function at WWDC will be true or not.
