According to a report arrived from Asia, it seems that Apple will double the amount of RAM memory on the next generation of the iPad Air tablet, a device that will be powered by an Apple A8 chip, the same processor that will be found on the iPhone 6 too. As you may know, Apple is getting ready for the launch of the iPhone 6 in September.
This information about the RAM memory comes from sources within Apple’s supply chain which claim that the amount of RAM is going to de doubled from 1 GB to 2 GB. Thanks to such an improvement, we’ll see a better speed in multitasking, as well as operation of memory intensive apps and services.
There’s also a rumor about the fact that the next generation of the iPad Mini Retina won’t pack more than 1 GB of RAM, the same component being also rumored to arrive on the iPhone 6. While the next generation of smartphones is almost ready, we expect that these new tablets to be shortly announced after.
