The Acer Iconia W4 is a Baytrail CPU tablet that has been rumored and talked about before, but this time we’re dealing with an official leak. Apparently, the US Acer website has published a picture of the device and some details about it.
Meanwhile, Acer Malaysia has confirmed the product launch for December. The slate will be priced at $329.99 for the 32 GB version and on it we’ll get a 2 cell 4960 mAh battery, a microSD card slot, a microUSB port and a microHDMI. There’s also a physical keyboard accessory mentioned in there and Amazon.com have the product on the site in the meantime, but no sales page yet.
Specs of the tablet include Windows 8.1, an 8 inch display with a 1280 x 800 pixel resolution and an Intel Baytrail Z3740 1.3 GHz CPU. There’s also 2 GB of RAM, WiFi, Bluetooth, an accelerometer and the whole thing is crammed within a 10 mm case. Tempting price, I have to say…
