After yesterday when we found out that Dell updated its Venue 8 Pro tablets with another hardware, today we get to know that the Taiwanese computer company Acer did the same thing with its low-cost tablet with 7 inch displays, more precisely with the Iconia One range of devices that are currently packing an Intel Atom Z2560 processor.

The new version however brings in the case a faster quad-core Intel Atom Z3735G processor. Among other specs we have a 7-inch HD display with a 1.280 x 800 pixels resolution, 1 GB of RAM, 8 or 16 GB space of internal storage, a microSD card slot, a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 0.3 megapixel front-facing camera.

In terms of names, it seems that this new model will keep the Iconia One name with the specification that the tablet contain a different model number. Is expected that the new Acer Iconia One to be launched on the market for a $130 price tag.
