Believe it or not, there’s another Android tablet out there that’s cheaper than the Amazon Kindle Fire… I’m talking about the Epesitec company, that seems to have retail locations all over Africa. Their model is priced $10 lower than the Kindle Fire and has the specs you can see detailed below.
The Epesitec E515 tablet comes with a 1.2 GHz CPU of the Freescale kind, a capacitive touch display with a 7 inch diagonal and WiFi connectivity. Priced at $189, this device also comes with a PowerVR Series5 graphics processing solution and its price makes it compete with the likes of Lenovo IdeaPad A1, Archos Arnova 7 G2 and some more Asian tablets.
Epesitec also promises a 3G version in the future dubbed E516 and with a price of $249. Both versions of the slate will get 4GB of storage, 512MB of RAM plus dual cameras and WiFi, Bluetooth, a USB port and TV output. November 1st is when you’ll see the products on the market. I doubt we’ll see Android Market support here…
