HP’s been on a roll this week, with the heavy discounts it offered for the TouchPad tablet and now we also get some news about the next generation of the device. The HP TouchPad 4G is priced at $700 on Amazon and it will come with support for AT&T’s HSPA+ connectivity.
You can find the product listed on Amazon for $699.99 and aside from the enhanced connectivity, we’ll find a 1.5GHz CPU instead of the 1.2GHz one of the predecessor. Also, this configuration includes a 32GB onboard storage and as far as release goes, we have no information at all, aside from the back to school time frame.
Keep in mind that you will need a separate data contract for the HSPA+ network, folks! Meanwhile, expect a detailed review of the first TouchPad on our site in the following days.
