Tecno is a brand that’s bigger than you expect and they’re about to get into the tablet biz. They make so many types of products, that I thought they already had tablets. Turns out they don’t. Well, one such newcomer is the Tecno MegaPad 11, which was recently spotted on the FCC and Google Play Console.
Earlier this year, there were reports that Tecno was preparing two tablets, the MegaPad 10 and MegaPad 11. The latter has now surface on the Google Play Console and FCC, with the codename T1101. The listing also confirms that we’ll get 8 GB of RAM on board and Android 14 preinstalled. There’s also mention of a CPU with the codename MediaTek MT8781V/CA, which is the well known MediaTek Helio G99 CPU.
That one also powers the Lenovo Tab Plus tablet, which is priced at $300. Tecno MegaPad 11 also comes with an 11 inch screen, with Full HD resolution and a 90 Hz refresh rate. The source talks about a 5 megapixel front camera, plus a main 13 megapixel sensor. Inside we should find an 8000 mAh battery. There’s also 18W wired fast charging and with a bit of luck there should be a bundled charger in the box.
There’s also Tecno AI, Dolby Atmos, up to 8 GB virtual RAM expansion, 4G and stereo speakers, or even ore. Available in blue and green, the slate will weigh around 500 grams.
