Realme will hold a bit event on September 9th, when it’s going to unveil two phones and a tablet. I’m talking about the Realme 8i and 8s, plus the Realme Pad. The latter has received at least half a dozen leaks so far and today it gets a teaser video, that unveils its design.
The tablet will come with a 10.4 inch screen and its biggest leak happened in July, with a few renders unveiled by @OnLeaks. Now the design has been confirmed by Realme itself, with a video included below. There’s a WUXGA+ panel here with a 82.5% screen to body ratio. We also get to see the USB-C port on the side, flanked by grilles and also a hole which could be an audio jack or a stylus slot.
There’s also the resolution confirmed here, 2000 x 12000 pixels. The video shows the Realme Pad in gold color, with a rear panel hosting a camera surround by a golden ring and a Realme logo in the bottom corner. The 6.9 mm thickness was already teased a few days ago. We also know that the slate will come with an 8 megapixel front and back camera, a microSD card slot and a 7100 mAh battery.
Realme Pad has 6 GB of RAM, 64 GB of storage and a Helio G80 processor. A 4 GB of RAM version is also in the making. It runs on Android 11 with Realme UI 2.0 on top and adopts the rather modest eMMC 5.1 storage, not UFS. Quad speakers, 4G, Wi-Fi are also here and everything for a price tag of $233.
