Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 (2020) was unveiled last week during Samsung’s Life Unstoppable event. It didn’t get a proper launch date for the whole world, or a very clear price. Today we learn that it’s about to reach India, according to a listing.
The budget friendly tablet has been made official in Europe last week and now we learn that support pages for it have been published on Samsung India’s website. There are LTE versions and WiFi versions incoming, with the SM-T500 and SM-T505 models popping up. All we know about the slates comes from Europe, like the 233 euros price tag for the WiFi version and 282 euros price for the 4G one. Galaxy Tab A7 (2020) comes in Dark Gray, Silver and Gold.
It packs a 10.4 inch IPS LCD (some say TFT) screen that offers 2000 x 1200 pixel resolution and an 80% screen to body ratio. It also relies on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor, together with 3 GB of RAM. Then there’s the 32 or 64 GB of storage and a microSD card slot. The tablet uses a 5 megapixel front camera and an 8 MP back shooter. It comes with a 7040 mAh battery, that supports fast charge via USB-C. I expect a price below $300 in India, maybe even below $250 with a bit of luck. The device should have Android 10 on board with at least One UI 2.0.
