iBall debuted a new tablet today, a model called Slide Wings, priced at just $118. This is a dual SIM slate with voice calling capabilities and it runs Android 5.1 Lollipop. It doesn’t look half bad, as shown below.
This model has a regular SIM and a micro SIM card slot and brings an 8 inch IPS HD screen (1280 x 800 pixels), as well as a 1.3 GHz quad core Cortex A7 CPU, with Mali 400 MP GPU. There’s also 2 GB of RAM here, 16 GB of storage, a microSD card slot and a 5 megapixel main camera with LED flash. Said camera offers functionality like multi angle panorama, Live Photo, face beauty and smile shot.
There’s also a 2 MP front camera and inside the iBall Slide Wings rests a 4300 mAh Li-Po battery, said to deliver up to 14 hours of talk time on 3G networks or 4.5 hours of video playback. Connectivity options include WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and 3G. The device comes with support for 9 Indian regional languages and write support for 21 Indian regional tongues.
