ASUS debuted the Zenbook Flip UX360 convertible in Taiwan this Spring and now it’s been made available in USA, where it’s up for purchase for $699. This is actually a premiere, since it’s the first model in the ASUS ZenBook family to bring a convertible design.
We’re dealing with a 13.3 inch touchscreen display here, that’s able to rotate at 360 degrees, going back to back with the keyboard and being held like a tablet. You can also buy the device from the Microsoft Store for $749. The UX360 offers a Full HD screen, an Intel Core m3-6Y30 Skylake CPU, 8 GB of RAM and a 256 GD SSD.
This product weighs 2.8 pounds and measures 0.54 inches in thickness. There’s a 54 Whr battery in the mix, that comes with the promise of up to 12 hours of run time, plus an USB Type C port, two USB 3.0 ports, a micro HDMI port, audio jack and SD card reader. WiFi 802.11 ac is here, plus Bluetooth 4.1 Keep in mind that the device mentioned above is the basic one, basic version, but there will also be a Core M5 and a Core M7 variant with a 3200 x 1800 pixel res and 512 GB of storage.
