Alcatel has kicked off the series of launches at MWC 2016 with a tablet that has a 10 inch screen and Windows 10 on board. This model is more of a convertible, if we take into account the bundled keyboard dock.
This is one of the few 2 in 1 models with Windows 10 and 4G LTE on board. The interesting bit here is that the keyboard section has both 4G and WiFi, being able to operate as a standalone hotspot. Plus 10 packs a quad core Intel Atom Z8350 processor, 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage, as well as a microSD card slot.
Port selection includes a full size USB, a microUSB and micro HDMI and we also get a back and front camera, as well as dual front speakers with 3D virtual sound. The screen of the slate uses an IPS panel with a 1280 x 800 pixel resolution. Batteries available here are a 5830 mAh one on the tablet and a 25800 mAh one on the dock.
The combo weighs 850 grams and has a warm gray leather finish, but it’s also available in metallic silver, matte white and matte volcano black. Sales start June and we have no price yet.
