The iPad Pro went on sale this week and it appears that some of its versions are already sold out. The slate came with 32 GB and 128 GB of storage, with the model with more storage being $150 more expensive. Apparently, the pricier one got sold out faster.
Right now, those who access Apple’s website will see that the 128 GB models, both cellular and WiFi are said to be shipping around November 25th at the earliest. This means the shipping times have been moved in order to have time to replenish the stock. The 32 GB model meanwhile ships on the 17th of November. Interestingly, the Apple Pencil and Smart Keyboard have also had their delivery times increased.
Till now they were coming on November 19th and now the earliest you can get them is 4 or 5 weeks from now. It’s not clear how many units Apple had available and last we heard suppliers weren’t receiving that many orders to begin with, so we may see a larger amount of products during the holiday season, enough to last all winter.
Pricing for the iPad Pro starts at $700 and gets you a 12.9 inch Retina display, powerful A9X CPU and an 8 MP camera, plus quad speakers.
