The ASUS Transformer Book models have been solid enough to earn good marks in our reviews and today we learn that a new generation is coming. ASUS has decided to update its lineup with the Transformer Book T100HA and TP200SA tablets, with detachable keyboards.
The T100HA is the follow up version of the Transformer Book T100, this time with an Intel Atom x5 processor inside. The TP200A is a convertible notebook with a 360 degree hinge, that makes the device a slate too. The first newcomer relies on a quad core 14 nm Intel Atom X5-Z8500 processor, 4 GB of RAM and Intel HD Graphics Gen 8, while its screen is a 10.1 incher with a 1280 x 800 pixel resolution.
On board we also find a micro HDMI port, an USB Type C USB 3.0 port and a microSD card slot. Finally, the device weighs 580 grams in the tablet version, while its dock weighs 471 grams. The battery offers up to 12 hours of juice and the product is priced at $299. Meanwhile, the TP200SA relies on a dual core Intel Celeron N3050 processor, 4 GB of RAM and a 11.6 inch IPS screen with a 1366 x 768 pixel resolution.
It has the same port setup, with two extras though: one USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 port. This one weighs 1.2 kg and it’s priced at $349. Windows 10 is obviously here and ASUS begins selling the slates later this month.
