The Huawei MediaPad X2 was a very appreciated device at MWC 2015 and now it has been certified by TENAA in a new version, that’s dubbed Huawei Honor X2. This product comes with LTE Category 6 and keeps the bulk of the specs of the original model.

The slate offers TD-LTE/FDD-LTE/WCDMA and GSM connectivity and it passed certification processes on March 13th. It’s codenamed Huawei GEM-703L and runs Android 5.0.x Lollipop. Upfront we find a 7 inch Full HD screen with LCD panel, while at the back there’s a 13 MP CMOS camera and upfront there’s a 5 MP one. Storage is 16 GB and the RAM quantity is 2 GB here.

Huawei Honor X2 measures 7.18 mm in thickness, weighs 249 grams and comes in gold, silver and three flavours of indigo black. Just like the MediaPad X2, it has incredibly slim bezels and a design format that seems borrowed from HTC One and enlarged.
