The ASUS FonePad 7 is about to get yet another generation, which is confirmed by a leak today. We get to see both a TENAA certification picture and some specs, so plenty of details to speculate on.
ASUS FonePad 2015, as the device is tentatively called and it was already certified by TENAA. This model is listed as a dual core unit and it’s said to come with a white, gold or red case. Rumors talk about a $235 price tag and for now the product is officially known as ASUS K01N on TENAA. The new FonePad 7 weighs 280 grams, measures 7.98 mm in thickness and packs dual SIM slots.
The screen on board is a 7 inch IPS one, with a 1024 x 600 pixels and inside we find a dual core 1.2 GHz processor, while the OS is Android KitKat. At the back there’s an 8 megapixel camera, with Full HD video capture, while at the front rests a 2 MP camera. Other specs include 2 GB of RAM, 8 GB of storage, a microSD card slot, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0.
