You’ve obviously heard about D-Link, the famous Taiwanese network device maker, that has now launched its very first tablet in India. The newcomer is dubbed D-Link D100 and it’s available online via e-commerce sites.
The product goes for $200 and it runs Android 4.4.2, plus it adopts a pretty basic design. It integrates a 7.85 inch IPS LCD screen with a 1024 x 768 pixel resolution, a quad core 1.3 GHz processor and a Mali 400 MP2 GPU, as well as 1 GB of RAM. We’ve got a 5 MP back camera in the mix, without flash and a 2 MP front shooter as well. There’s 16 GB of storage inside, plus a microSD card slot.
The slate offers 3G connectivity, WiFi, Bluetooth, microUSB and GPS, plus OTG support. On the battery side we’ve got a 4000 mAh unit and this model is available on a variety of stores, like eBay, Snapdeal or Flipkart. As you can see on the screen, there’s also a phone call feature. Now we’ll probably see TP-Link or some other D-Link rival also launching tablets…
