Even if on the other markets, the HP Split x2 hybrid tablet it’s knowed as HP Pavilion x2, these both models are packing the same specs. Recently, the Split x2 slate was introduced on the US market and as the name suggest, this tablet it’a hybrid one mostly because it can be easily transformed into a notebook thanks to the keyboard dock found inside the package.
HP Split x2 packs a 13.3-inch HD display with a 1366×768 pixel resolution, 4 or 8 GB of RAM memory, up to 628 GB of memory, an Intel Core i3-4010Y processor or an Intel Core i5-4200Y SoC, Intel HD Graphics, and dual-stereo speakers with Beats Audio technology. The tablet runs Windows 8 operating system on a 64-bit arhitecture.
According to HP, the battery found on this device promises a lifetime of up to 10 hours. HP Split x2 will arrive on the US market starting June 11 at a $699 for the basic configuration. The tablet will be available in three different colors: white, red and silver.
