ASUS wants to beat the Surface Pro 3 tablet with a similar product, that was unveiled today and bears the name of Transformer Book T300 Chi. The device is shown below and it’s impressive, especially when it comes to its thin waistline.

ASUS claims that this the world’s thinnest 12.5 inch detachable tablet. We’re dealing with a model that supports a 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution here and it comes with next gen Intel Core processors, LTE connectivity and a keyboard dock. With the keyboard dock attached, the product measures 14.3 mm in thickness, which is very good. The tablet alone measures 7.3 mm and sadly we don’t have a price yet for this appealing product.

This model runs Windows 8.1, as you probably have guessed and so far we’ve seen a gold and black version. The device can offer up to 4 GB of RAM and it comes with a HD webcam, plus a solid back camera. The detachable keyboard features regular sized keys and a conventional touchpad with 2 buttons. Expect more details from Computex 2014 about this product.
