After seeing an impressive score of 39k points for the Tegra K1 CPU on the Xiaomi Mi Pad, here’s another very good score achieved in AnTuTu by the PiPo P8 slate. This is a quad core device with a 7.9 inch screen, but what matters the most is the CPU type and the price here…
The P8 is priced at $209 and it relies on a quad core Rockchip RK3288 processor, scoring 35k points in AnTuTu. The device relies on a 7.9 inch display with a Retina resolution (2048 x 1536) and uses a 3rd gen IPS panel. Inside the device we find the Mali T764 processor and you should know that the Rockchip chip also brings 4G LTE support, unlike the Tegra 4 for example.
The Pipo P8 was originally said to cost $160, so this price, although low is higher than expected. I should also mention that the product runs Android 4.2 and comes with 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of storage and a 5 megapixel back camera, plus a 2 MP front shooter. Getting one?
