Since I had the chance to review the ASUS VivoTab Note 8 tablet, I decided to also test a game or two on it. Among the titles there was also a game called Endless Skater, that’s available for free and theoretically offers an original experience. Well, it’s not quite like that…
This is a game that’s very hard and based a lot on gestures. There are lots of them to perform and usually they’re swipes in various areas of the screen. You see the skater riding from profile and you do swipes to grind on a rail, flip the skate mid air or do twists by tilting the tablet, for example.
There are 25 tricks to master and a handful of skaters to unlock. The graphics may be nice, but the gameplay is actually tough and it’s very hard to get the cash needed to proceed further in the game. The title takes up 135 MB of storage and features a timed run, with about 2 minutes of fun and an endless mode, where you fall once and it’s all done and boy, is it easy to fall in this game…
That’s why I give Endless Skater a 6.5 out of 10 and you can download it here.
