The Nokia Lumia 2520 is the first tablet from the Finnish company, a device that has been reaching all major US carriers for the past week or so. After seeing it on AT&T with a very appealing price, now the Verizon version gets demoed in a detailed walkthrough.

The slate with red polycarbonate shell is shown to feature some interesting things, like Internet Explorer 11, Search Powered by Bing, SkyDrive Cloud Storage with 7 GB free and the full Microsoft Office Suite, things we don’t usually look for in the specs list. Then there’s another video, showing us the gesture based control and functionality of the device.

Multitasking seems pretty smooth on this device, that has at its core the powerful Snapdragon 800 quad core CPU. We also get 32 GB of storage, 2 GB of RAM and a 6.7 megapixel Carl Zeiss camera with 1/3.4 inch sensor size. For those of you not familiar with this model, know it’s based on the Windows RT 8.1 OS.
