There are few handset models out there that can offer LTE-A connectivity and one of them is the freshly launched Pantech LTE-A. The device is basically a phablet created as a rival of the Galaxy Note III, since it sounds a lot like it.
After all it comes from a South Korean company, Pantech, that Samsung holds a 10% interest in, if I’m not mistaking. The Vega LTE-A has a 5.6 inch Full HD display and a quad core Snapdragon 800 processor inside, as well as Android 4.2.2 on board. For a while it was rumored that it would be packing a touchpad at the back, at least a few days ago, when this model first leaked.
Now the phablet is back and in the end it appears this phablet will be able to identify your print. Expect to see more and more companies adopting this tech, since even Apple was rumored to, at some point. This model looks pretty hot and I can’t wait to see it benchmarked and see it go head to head against the Note III.
