Usually a product being removed from a store is a signal that a new generation is coming. That may also be the case of the Nexus 7 dock, that has recently been removed from the Play Store, so we may be preparing for a new product generation.
Of course, I immediately associate that with the rumors regarding the new Nexus 7 and the fact we may get new accessories for it. Also, I expect the first Nexus 7 to be phased out pretty soon, if the July launch of the new slate plays out as predicted. Right now, the dock is listed as “not available in your country” and it’s out of stock everywhere, according to various reports.
I have written a ton of articles about the upcoming new Nexus 7 and still we have no solid proof about it. The only thing we can expect from it is Android 4.3 and a 1200p display. Also, a good price is in order to make it succeed…
