If you’re looking for a business tablet that can replace an ultrabook, a fine alternative would be the Acer Iconia W700, that we unboxed in the video below. We’re talking about a 11.6 inch Full HD slate, that packs a bunch of hardcore specs, crammed into a huge device.

It measures 12 mm in thickness and weighs about a kilo. The product is priced at $1049.99 and it’s bundled with a cover and keyboard, at least in the version we tested. The slate runs Windows 8 Pro 64 bit and relies on a 3rd gen Intel Core i5 processor with 1.7 GHz frequency. There’s also 4 GB of DDR3 RAM on board, 128 GB of SSD storage and a 11.6 inch Full HD display (LED backlit).

The device also has Intel HD 4000 graphics and front and back cameras capable of HD capture. At the back we’ve got a 5 megapixel camera and on the side we find a micro HDMI port. WiFi, Bluetooth and USB 3.0 are all present here, as well as a battery that promises 9 hours of functioning time. This is more of a tablet for a business man, who’s constantly on the move and doesn’t want to rely on a big and heavy laptop. We’ll be back with a few more details in the full review in a couple of days!
