Keep in mind that we’re dealing with a “table” here, not a tablet, since this is a 27 inch PC trapped inside the body of a relatively thin display. Meet the Lenovo IdeaCentre Horizon Table PC, the machine that’s perfect to use in multiplayer game sessions and that you can lie flat on a surface.
The device runs Windows 8 and has direct connections with games customized for its unique play style. It includes selections of titles from Electronic Arts and Ubisoft, plus you will be using the touchscreen display to work with the games included here, as well as a collection of special accessories. You get 4 joysticks also included e-dice and strikers for a more immersive experience, so this seems like a gaming oriented machine.
There’s also the Lenovo App Shop powered by Intel AppUp for an extra bundle of thousands of apps and games. Preloaded gaming experiences like Mononpoly and joystick-friendly titles like Fishing Joy are also in the mix. Even BlueStacks is supported, for Android app compatibility. Inside the Horizon we find Nvidia Geforce graphics, a 3rd gen Intel Core i7 processor and Dolby Home Theatre v4 audio. The product will be available starting this summer for $1,699.
