Fujitsu has good news for potential buyers of Windows 8 tablets: they’ve just announced a fresh tablet or two, plus some product upgrades in the same line. For one thing they debuted the Stylistic Q572, that’s a 10.1 inch Windows 8/ Win 8 Pro device, packing an AMD dual core Z-60 APU processor and 4 GB of memory.
The Q572 offers a choice of SSD storage from 64 GB up to 256 GB, plus support for digital pen input and dual mode finger/stylus action on the touchscreen supporting a 1366 x 768 resolution. On the connectivity side we’ve got LTE (optional), WiFi, Bluetooth (optional), gigabit ethernet, HDMI and a USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 port. To that we add a docking connector, a memory card slot, two digital microphones, audio in, audio out and a bunch of webcams (5 Mp back).
Q572 measures 13.9 mm in thickness and weighs 820 grams. The other announcements concerned products that were already unveiled in 2012, but updated now: Stylistic Q702, a tablet with Intel CPU and the convertible model LifeBook T902. The former runs Windows 8 on a 11.6 inch display and comes with a detachable keyboard. Alone it gets 4 hours of battery, but dock it reaches 9 hours. The T902 LifeBook is a convertible 13.3 inch unit with your choice of either Core i5 or i7 ticker, as well as a swivel 1600 x 900 touchscreen, plus optical drive and optional 4G LTE.
All of those bulk up the device to a weight of 1.89 kg.
