The famous custom ROM CyanogenMod has reached version 10, that brings Jelly Bean at its core, which is good news for those of you who are in for a long wait of the official software. This means you’ll actually get it earlier via the custom software. CyanogenMod 9, based on ICS recently reached a stable version and now the CyanogenMod Team announced that starting today version 10 nightly builds will be available.
Availability applies to devices like the US Samsung Galaxy S III, Galaxy Nexus versions, Nexus S units, the Nexus 7 tablet and the Transformer and Transformer Prime from ASUS. Interestingly enough, even Samsung Galaxy S 1 is on the list, in its many versions: Vibrant, Captivate, International and i900b. Finally we’ve got SGS2 i9100g and P3 and P5 tablets compatible with this software as well. In the following weeks I’m sure the list will grow.
CyanogenMod 9 continues to get builds, but they’re moved to a weekly status, not nightly like CM10. A good piece of news from the CM team is that devices that got a version 9 release, will most likely get version 10 as well, so enjoy it. You can download CyanogenMod 10 from here, if you’re curious.
